This will be Wolfeboro Friends of Music’s sixth consecutive “on Tour” concert. For the past five years enthusiastic and welcoming Friends of Music audiences have thrilled to the Institute’s “Heifetz On Tour” performances. The performers of the Heifetz International Music Institute, which resided on the Brewster Academy campus from 2002 to 2011 continue to astound and delight audiences wherever they go. Founded by Daniel Heifetz in 1996, the Institute offers its world-renowned summer program on the campus of Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia.Its signature “Heifetz on Tour” program is designed to create real-world performance and outreach opportunities for promising young alumni.
