Dynamic and versatile pianist Eleanor Perrone has captivated audiences at home and abroad with her imaginative programming and depth of artistry. From grand concert halls to community centers, Ms. Perrone is deeply committed to the visceral experience of live performance. Concerts of her extensive repertoire have consistently elicited rousing standing ovations, and her ability to communicate intensity or intimacy is as extraordinary as the music itself.

Program: Bach-Busoni Chaconne in D minor, Albeniz Iberia Suite Book 1, Chopin Scherzo No. 3 in C# minor Op. 39, Barber Excursions.

Steven Lubin, American pianist and fortepianist, has appeared as concerto soloist and recitalist in many of the great halls of the world, and has made acclaimed recordings for Decca, Harmonia Mundi USA, Arabesque and Classical Soundings. He pioneered a series of solo recitals including fortepiano in major New York venues (including his 1977 debut in Carnegie Recital Hall), and, having organized a classic-period orchestra in the early 80s, offered pathbreaking performances of Mozart concertos in period style, as soloist/conductor, in several of New York's principal halls (Avery Fisher Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Town Hall, and the Metropolitan Museum). He is Professor Emeritus of Music at the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College, Purchase, NY. In 2013, he was awarded an honorary membership in the Phi Beta Kappa Society of Harvard, for lifelong services to the liberal arts and sciences.

Program: Beethoven Sonata #23 in F minor Op. 57 ("Appassionata") and classical and romantic era works from the artist's repertoire.
