WFOM Vice President - Development

Jeff taught instrumental music in Norwalk Public Schools and served as Music and Fine Arts Department Chair from 1986 to 2010. Jeff founded Musical Arts Conference, a national adjudication organization for marching band, winter guard, winter percussion, and jazz ensemble competition. At Western Connecticut State University he taught Symphonic Band and Secondary Methods and supervised student teachers (2005-2011). At present, Jeff is Assistant Conductor of Strafford Wind Symphony, Rochester NH and performs on Eb and Bb clarinet with the ensemble. He performs on clarinet and saxophone with Sea Reeds Clarinet Quartet, occasionally on Eb clarinet with the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra, at area churches, and for area musicals. He is Judge Coordinator for Musical Arts Conference and a national judge for Drums Corps Associates, Musical Arts Conference, USBands, and private contracts. He regularly guest conducts and clinics at high school music festivals in the Connecticut and New York areas, teaches at UNH SYMS summer music program, assists with UNH Wildcat Marching band, and writes marching band drill for UNH and Concord High School. Jeff and his wife, Diane, live in Wolfeboro.
