Heifetz on Tour for October 2018 10 x 8Saturday October 19, 2019 7:30 PM

Anderson Hall 205 S. Main St.

Wolfeboro NH

This will be Wolfeboro Friends of Music's eighth consecutive "Heifetz On Tour" concert to the delight of our Wolfeboro audience.

Founded by Daniel Heifetz in 1996, the Institute offers its world-renowned summer program on the campus of Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia. Four young artists selected from among their international peers, playing violin, viola, cello and piano, perform a signature menu of rarely heard, scintillating concert duets, plus a full piano quartet. Faculty of the Ashkenasi/Kirschbaum seminar, including the Institute’s newly appointed Artistic Director, Nicholas Kitchen (and Borromeo Quartet, Ensemble in Residence), instill founder Daniel Heifetz’ music ideas and ideals.
