Taiwan-born, Hsiang debuted at Lincoln Center as winner of the prestigious Juilliard Piano Concerto Competition, returning in 2013 as soloist with the World Civic Orchestra. He has garnered many prizes in international piano competitions, and has appeared with numerous orchestras both in the US and Canada. Dr. Tu has served on the piano faculty of UNH and is now an Assistant Professor in piano at Virginia Tech. An accomplished recitalist, chamber musician and adjudicator, this versatile musician is an exceptional virtuoso.
