Board Member at Large
Debbi Gibson followed her dream to pursue music and received a BME with a Certificate in Performance from Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music. She then obtained her MME from James Madison University. She has been a music educator for over 40 years, teaching K-12 grades and adjunct faculty at local colleges. Her teaching accolades include 2005 NHMEA Distinguished Music Educator of the Year, 2011 NHBDA Outstanding Band Director Award. Mrs. Gibson performs regularly with the Lakes Region Symphony Orchestra, the Lakes Region Woodwind Quintet, the Newmont Military Band, the Center Harbor Town Band, and the NHMF Festival Chorus. She conducts the New Horizons of the Lakes Region Band, Jazz Band and the Taylor Community Chorus and the Carter Mountain Brass Band.
